Why must I feel like This, Always backing myself into a Corner With nowhere to Go? Why am I so Fearful To let my true self Show? Always withholding what I wish to Say And having to mask and Hide My strain Away. Maybe one day Though, For myself to Change, It could just take A special someone at my Side, To look past my dam they will See, And help me to just go with the Flow, To become the person I wish to Be. Silence. Not even the whisper of the Wind Can be as defening as the Nothing That reaches the Ears, It can be both a somber Place, Or a never ending Noise Of all Kinds, It can put one to Sleep Or make one lose their Minds.

Onto this String I so desperately Cling, Wrapped around my Hand It so tightly Embeds, Staining its once purity a deep Red, Alone I spent for years too Long My heart cries a lonely Song, In my chest a hollow Ache But this string I must finally Break, For how cruel that this is my Fate That in the End, You were never my Mate.

You are like a beautiful Butterfly Who's wingbeats sing a soft Lullaby, It rebuilds my broken heart Anew And creates in me a love so True, It grows into a flower that is wonderfully Blue And with each with Sunrise You kiss me like the morning Dew.

In the beginning, We were just like sparkes that lit the candle a Flame, But just like the Candle, Its light was bound to reach an End, And so in the end we did Reach, Our small warmth flickered out to naught but Ash. Many would believe that that is the end to the Story, But those have failed to Realize, That from ash the pheonix Renewed, Birthed by its own Remains. Our story has not Ended, Only our last Chapter. More has yet to be Written, For we are the Pheonix.
